I have cerebral palsy. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree from Auckland University and a Diploma in Library and Information Studies from Victoria University of Wellington.

I have been painting at Spark Studio for five years and have been amazed by the artistic skills that I have gained. I take two sessions a week. When I first started I didn’t think I’d be any good and began painting totally abstract pieces. “Auckland By The Sea” was the first piece that sold at the annual exhibition at Aotea Centre which gave me a great confidence boost. and made me realise that I could actually be quite good at this. I take a photo of each painting so I have a record of my work.

I would like to see my paintings exhibited in Cafes.

I enjoy the creative process, seeing a painting develop from a pencil sketch to a completed work of art. I become so focused on a painting that the two hour classes seem to go by in five minutes. Below is a collection of my latest work.
